Patterns of Contemporary Living brings together photographs of the installation, architectural photography, and other contemporary artworks, interspersed amongst theoretical texts and short stories which address the philosophical, cultural, political, economic and social aspects of the Urburb.

 

The first part consists of five theoretical texts, by Roy Brand, Ori Scialom, Keren Yeala Golan, Zvi Efrat, and Tamar Berger.

 

The second section is comprised of ten scenarios illustrating the exhibition display; each scenario presents a case study of the Urburb’s progression in terms of the country, the city, the neighborhood and the building.

 

The third section presents a collection of five short stories by contemporary Israeli authors including Amos Oz, Julia Fermentto, Eyal Sagui Bizawe, Zvi Efrat, Eshkol Nevo, Shimon Adaf. rUrburbeflecting on the everyday life in these everyday places.
